COAT COLOURS & MARKINGS

MERLE

A Merle is a single color (black or brown) with a gene modifier which creates darker patches on a diluted base coat color. This includes Blue or Chocolate Merle accompanied by white markings on the face, chest, feet, and tail with or without tan points that can present themselves on the snout/cheeks, above the eyes, chest, legs, and rear. Merles can also have little to no white spotting with Phantom markings on the snout/cheeks, above the eyes, chest, legs, and rear. We currently work with Blue (and occasionally Chocolate) Merles with Tri/Phantom markings.

TRICOLOUR

A Tricolour is described as having three colors, this includes a single coat color (black or brown) accompanied by white markings on the face/snout, chest, feet, and tail along with tan points that can present themselves on the cheeks, above the eyes, chest, legs, and rear.
We currently work with Black (and occasionally Chocolate) Tricolors.

PHANTOM

A Phantom is described as having two colors, this includes a single coat color (black or brown) accompanied by tan points that can present themselves on the cheeks or snout, above the eyes, chest, legs, and rear. A Phantom will have little to no white markings. We currently work with Black (and occasionally Chocolate) Phantoms.

BICOLOUR

A Bicolor is described as having two colors, this can include a single coat color (brown, black, red, or blonde) accompanied by white markings on the face, chest, feet, and tail or small white patches on the chest, snout, or toes.
